Granite stone which lie in leaves Darkened days where memories cleave

Forgotten folk who lived and died Long since gone from kin and ties Our forefathers who went
before Lost somehow to days of yore Yet so fast the time goes by not a chance to say goodbye

A council's wish with power and pride Swishing pens and folk aside From our kin, apart in death "Go
somewhere else" with your last breath Cast upon a strange town's graves To save a penny is
depraved Disrespect unto the last Leaves a town and folk aghast Is whiskey, bribes enough to rule?
Corruption, drink, a board of fools? Vote out opinion's darkened thoughts Force them out, the whole
damn lot Bring back respect for where we lie With our kin do let us die For ruling powers built on
sand Beware, the vote is in our hands.
