The Kirk — version 1

Scotland

Sometimes good yet ever stable
Running through the veins of all
Never failing condemnaton
Above all people, you rise tall

Tradition with us once rejected
defending freedom truth and thoughts
Yet the very thing you made us
now is the thing that wastes and rots

Standing true on point of madness
liberty and none of Rome!
Yet now you sip the cup of Papists
sweetly calling people “home”

Once you stood on point of defence
protecting freedom, purest thoughts
yet now your rituals grab and choke you
you´re now the thing you tried to wrought
