Christian
Today I walked in the cemetery. I heard a voice: Why do you seek the living among the dead? I answered: Because the dead accept me, without argument. The living make so many demands, unconditional love is something they never give. The silence of the dead affirms me, that’s why I remain standing here. My mother’s love was unconditional. And now she lies here, without judgment. And how I hoped for love in a human robe, but I found none. And somehow, through the dead, I feel that great Spirit, without demands, without words, in silence, affirming me.
